Is silver safe against your skin all day?
Yes. Every NƟRM sock is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Product Class I. That is the strictest class in the standard. The silver is bonded into the yarn, so there is nothing loose to transfer.
Will it wash out?
No. Antibacterial performance was tested after 300 washes. The silver is 65% of the yarn, not a finish sitting on top of it.
What if my feet sweat a lot?
Our cotton-silver blend keeps moisture moving, not trapped. Silver ions help reduce the bacteria that cause odor, so your feet stay drier, fresher, and more comfortable all day. If your feet run hot, these are built for you.
How many wears between washes?
Two to three for most people. The silver-ion fibre keeps the sock fresh between wears, so a pack stretches further than a regular sock drawer.
How should I wash them?
Machine wash at 30°C, inside out. Tumble dry low or hang. No fabric softener, no bleach.
